It is structurally designed to resist 180 MPH wind load and an EF3 tornado. The exterior windows and doors are designed to withstand missile impacts of wind-borne debris during a storm event. The roof structure is sloped toward the exterior roof drains. Roofing consists of fully adhered PVC single ply membrane on 4-inch lightweight insulating concrete topping. The building includes a lightening protection system in accordance with NFPA 780. The heating, cooling, power and fire protection systems are fully automated controls with the ability to monitor and adjust system by facilities maintenance staff off-site via internet.
