Reference Number 0000341234 The goal of this project is to replace two (2) existing 1,700 gallon FRP sodium hypochlorite storage tanks (storage tanks) at PWSD's Regional Well House Facility. The storage of sodium hypochlorite is critical to the operations of the PWSD and would ideally be completed before the peak water demand season. The existing storage tanks leak and are unable to be rehabilitated in place. This project will include demolition of the existing above ground storage tanks, the thirteen (13) inch tall containment wall, and existing piping. The selected Contractor will furnish and install two (2) replacement 1,700 gallon FRP storage tanks, reconstruct the containment wall, and reconstruct the associated process piping. The Contractor will also be responsible for the removal of the existing chemical panel and light fixtures within the tank area to safely demolish the existing tanks and reinstalling the same chemical panel and light fixtures.
