The Preliminary program estimates a hard cost budget of approximately $15 - $20 Million for the Public Works Building. The Public Works facility will need to be fully operational during construction. Due to the proximity of the site to residential neighborhoods, the selected candidate will be expected to help facilitate communications and adhere to all City ordinances regarding working hours. The City has elected to pursue a Construction Manager as General Contractor (CM/GC) delivery method for this project. It is expected that the selected CM/GC partner is highly collaborative and works closely with the Design Team and City Staff during the design of the project only for cost estimating services but also for constructability reviews and establishing Value Engineering options. The Public Works facility will be required to adhere to the City of Lone Tree Site Improvement Plan Review and a Ridgegate East Plan Review. The City will also be responsible for issuing Building Permits.
