Renovation of an educational facility in Louisville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 10,842-square-foot, three-story above grade educational facility.
SCOPE OF WORK o Select Exterior Door Replacement. o Window Replacement o Limestone Windowsill: remove paint, inspect, repair, and/or replace and seal as needed for a like-new condition. o Existing Masonry Wall: inspect, re-point, repair/replace, and seal for a like-new condition. Work is to be performed per Historic National Park Service Recommendation Methods. o Remove any existing window treatments and provide and install new window shades throughout. o Re-seal exterior perimeter to establish a weather-tight seal around Louver(s) Questions Due - February 16th, 2024 by 2:00PM, EST. Upon execution of a contract, the contractor, in cooperation with the Owner shall begin preparations for work on-site. A contract is expected to be awarded by the end of February or early March. o Substantial Completion: August 2nd, 2024 The University has established a Preferable Goal for construction/renovation project participation at 20% MinorityOwned and 5% Woman-Owned Businesses. Alternatively, firms may also achieve this goal with a combined Minority and Women participation level of 25% for the project.
