Mhec is Seeking Bids for a Maintenance, Repair and Operations (Mro) Equipment, Supplies and Services Contract (Defined in Following Section). Mhec is Partnering With the University of Massachusetts System, University of Maine System, and University of New Hampshire System to Deliver a Best in Class Contract for Mro Products and Services for Its Current and Future Members in Located in New England ( Ct, Ma, Me, Nh, Ri, Vt). Collaborations: A. University of Massachusetts - University System The University of Massachusetts, Through Its Unified Procurement Services Team (Upst), Has Committed to Using the Mhec Mc15-g19 Contract for Their Mro Needs. It is the Intention of the University Procurement Services Team (Upst) to Utilize the Resulting Contract by Migrating Their Current Mro Contracts Use to the Mhec. Although No Guarantees Are Made, Historical Spend for Upst on Mro Suppliers is as Follows: Fy2022: $20,000,000.00 B. University of Maine - University System Ums Appreciates the Opportunity to Participate in the Mro Invitation for Bid Being Coordinated via Mhec. We Are Optimistic That This Initiative Will Result in Savings Opportunities for Ums and That We Will Utilize the New Contract. However, We Retain the Option to Pursue Other Options if the Result of the Ifb is Not Favorable to Us in Terms of Pricing and Rebates. C. University System of New Hampshire The University System of New Hampshire Has Partnered With the Mhec to Use the Mc15-g19 Contract for Their Mro Needs. This Decision is Contingent Upon the Mhec Products Demonstrating Superior Value in Terms of Pricing and Performance. If This is the Case, the University of New Hampshire Will Utilize the Resulting Contract by Migrating Current Contract Use to the Mhec A Bidder Wishing to Take Advantage of the Collaboration Shall Submit Prices on the Market Basket Which Can Be Downloaded in Part 5. The Completed Market Basket Should Be Uploaded in Part 4c. the Mhec and Its Collaboration Partners Reserve the Right to Award a Single Contract, Multiple Contracts, or Contract(S) for a Specific Category (E.g. Plumbing, Mro, Electrical). *important - Mhec Entire Membership May Take Advantage of the Market Basket Pricing. Bidders Opting to Submit an Offer on the Market Basket Should Also Submit Pricing on the Offer Table Found in Part 5. Bidders Who Submit Pricing Solely for the Market Basket Without Providing Category Discounts for the Offer Table Referenced Above, May Be Deemed Non-advantageous and Could Be Subject to Disqualification From the Bidding Proces. 1.c.
