Description

Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Amherst, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; parking garage; parking garage; parking garage; parking garage; water / sewer project; water / sewer project; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

Project consists of the construction of an addition to the PVTA UMass Maintenance Facility. Two existing two-post axle engaging lifts will be retrofitted to include a third post capable of servicing the PVTA's fleet of 60' articulating busses. Additionally, two new maintenance bays will be constructed and serviced by owner-furnished mobile column lifts. The contractor must phase the project, such that the PVTA will have access to two maintenance bays at all times during construction.
