The Lake Panorama Rural Improvement Zone is seeking proposals for general lake maintenance (including but not limited to basin maintenance, operation of utility barge and debris skimmer for clamshell/mechanical dredging, and debris removal) related to and for Lake Panorama during calendar year 2024 along with certain administrative and government reporting services to be performed for RIZ (including but not limited to maintenance planning and coordination of day-to-day management of certain water quality activities, assistance in property acquisition assistance and strategy, consulting services, and the pursuit of cooperative funding) for a period ending March 31, 2025. The general lake maintenance work shall commence as soon as practical in 2024 and shall be completed by no later than December 31, 2024. The services relating to general accounting work, annual financial reporting, annual urban renewal report, annual TIF debt certification and annual operating budget, as well as all other general administrative services shall commence on April 1, 2024 and shall include all such services, as needed, through March 31, 2025. The bidder's security shall be in an amount equivalent to five percent (5%) of the bid amount, and shall be in the form of a cashier's or certified check drawn on a bank in Iowa or a bank chartered under the laws of the United States of America, or a certified bank share draft drawn on a credit union in Iowa or chartered under the laws of the United States of America or a bid bond with corporate surety satisfactory to the RIZ. Bidders shall be prepared to submit a performance bond and payment bond condition on the faithful performance of the contract. The RIZ reserves the right to waive informalities or irregularities. The RIZ reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
