Site work and paving for a civil project in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
The improvement includes installation of flow monitoring equipment for eight new sanitary sewer flow meters and various improvements at multiple existing sanitary sewer flow meter sites. Work includes associated electrical and control equipment including buried conduits, concrete pads for control panels, clearing and grubbing, earthwork, culverts, access drives, new manhole construction or manhole adjustments at selected locations, landscape timber retaining walls, traffic control, surface restoration and miscellaneous associated work, all in accordance with the contract documents including Plan File No. 662-001/019, located at various locations in Polk County, Iowa, Dallas County, Iowa, and Warren County, Iowa. This project shall be fully completed not later than May 1, 2025 and in accordance with the Completion Provisions Engineer's Construction Estimate. $1,261,803.75 Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code and as specified by the Jurisdiction. The Des Moines Metropolitan Wastewater Reclamation Authority (Jurisdiction) reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
