Renovation of a multi-residential development in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

Estimated Cost $100,000 Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate General bidders must be DCAMM certified in Electrical. New kitchen & bathroom GFI receptacles, electrical load centers in the basement, first or second floors, extending wiring & conduit and related work at Brickenwood Family Housing Development. 1. Electrical Contractor shall be the General Contractor. The Electrical Contractor shall be DCAMM Certified in Electrical work. 2. Replace all existing load centers in all apartments with new load centers. All new load centers will be located in the basement with the exception of 28 units which will be located on first or second floors as noted on the drawings. 3. Extend subfeeder wiring from basement location to new load center or existing load center box as shown on the drawings. New subfeeder wiring shall match with the existing. New branch circuit wiring shall be Romex. 4. Remove all existing circuit breakers in existing load center at first floor or second floor. Leave all branch circuit wiring for future splice connection as shown on the drawing. 5. Make existing load center as splice box. Reconnect respective new wiring to existing wiring as shown on the drawings. 6. At selected units (28) the existing load centers will be replaced with new at new locations on the same floor as shown on the drawings. 7. Furnish and install new receptacles above the kitchen counter as shown on the drawings. 8. Furnish and install new receptacle and new switch with humidity sensor for exhaust fan in bathrooms as shown on the drawings. Interlock humidity sensor switch with existing bathroom exhaust fan. 9. Extend new branch circuit wiring to all new receptacles as shown on the drawings. 10. All new 15A-1P and 20A-1P circuit breakers shall be combination GFI / arc fault circuit breakers as indicated on the panel schedule. 11. Grounding and bonding of all electrical systems and equipment. Grounding and bonding work shall be strictly as per latest edition of National Electric Code (NEC) and Massachusetts Electric Code. 12. Testing of all electrical systems. 13. Core drilling. 14. Selective demolition as shown on the drawings. 15. Work shall be performed in different phases. This includes shutdowns. B. Work to be performed in timely and workmanlike fashion. All materials shall be installed in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
