Contractor must be a licensed registered Contractor with Cook County Building and Zoning. The Forest Preserves are GC. SCOPE OF WORK: 1. THIS IS NOT A WHOLE HOUSE REWIRE. Some of the existing electrical will remain. 2. Provide labor and material for residential electrical upgrade as identified or discovered missing. 3. Project is to bring house up to Cook County Building and Zoning code. 4. The following plans have been approved by CCBZ. 5. Existing 30 circuit 150 amp panel remains i. Clean up panel. ii. Remove any existing romex. Replace with conduit to code as needed. iii. Add service ground to water main. iv. Add a new pipe and wiring for future electric furnace. v. All lower level receptacles to raised to 18inch above floor. vi. Install new light fixtures as identified. Light fixtures to be provided. vii. Add new receptacles as identified. White duplex unless otherwise noted. viii. Provide and install new light switches as identified with White rocker switches. ix. Provide and Install interconnected smoke/co2 detectors. x. For any upper level ceiling installations, no screws shall be longer than One (1) inch. xi. Follow plan and schedule below. If contractor would like to make changes, they must be approved by Forest Preserves prior to installation.
