The work may include resurfacing, reconstruction, utility and drainage work, as well as excavation as required by the Town of Bedford in our Local Road rehabilitation program. This program will include approximately $3.5M of work over two years, 2024-2025, and may include the following road segments: Hardy Road, Jenkins Road, Quincy Drive, Jefferson Road, Roosevelt Drive, Hamilton Way, County Road, Liberty Hill Road, Veronica Drive, Horizon Drive, Greenfield Parkway, Beals Road, Meadowcrest Road, Woburn Abbey Drive, Camelot Drive, Seton Drive, Shepard Hill Road, Barnside Drive, Trellis Way, Bailey's Green, Adam's Green, Smith Road, as well as other roads as directed by the Town. The Town reserves the right to remove or replace roads in the program as needs arise, or to cease work on the project in the event that all dedicated monies have been expended. Approximately $1.5M of work will need to be accomplished in 2024, and approximately $2.0M of work will need to be accomplished in 2025. All work shall be done in accordance with the contract documents and specifications prepared by the Town of Bedford, New Hampshire. Bidders must supply all the information required by the proposal forms. A certified check, drawn upon a state or national bank, or a bid bond, in the penal sum of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price will be required with each bid. The Town of Bedford reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities in bids received. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within sixty (60) days from bid opening.
