Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Williams Bay, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Description of Work. The proposed construction consists of remodeling the existing pump room including carpentry work; mechanical work; chemical feed equipment; demolition of existing pumps, piping, and equipment; installation of new pumping equipment; installation of a flow controlled pressure reducing valve; installation of process piping and metering; SCADA and electrical work; site work including water main installation, asphalt paving, and concrete flatwork; roof, window, and door replacements; flat roof replacements; induced draft aerator replacement; filter media replacement; and other miscellaneous items of work. This project will be funded by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Safe Drinking Water Loan Program. Bidders are subject to the provisions of the Safe Drinking Water Loan Program, including prevailing wage rate compliance with the DavisBacon and Related Acts (DBRA) requirements. Bidders shall comply with the Use of American Iron and Steel requirements as contained in Section 436 of H.R. 3547, the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2014. Bidders shall demonstrate positive efforts to utilize disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE). DBEs are encouraged to submit bids for this project. Questions received less than five (5) business days prior to the Bid Opening, might not be answered. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bidder's bond, certified check, bank cashier's check or bank draft payable to the Village of Williams Bay for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid as provided in the Bidder Instructions. In accordance with Environmental Loan Program requirements not less than the prevailing rate of wages as determined by the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts requirements as defined by Federal Department of Labor shall be paid to all laborers, workmen and mechanics performing work under this contract. Rejection of Bids. The Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive technicalities. Unless the Bids are rejected for good cause, award of contract shall be made to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder.
