Renovation of a water / sewer project in Williams Bay, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The proposed construction consists of removing existing pump and discharge piping, install a new submersible well pump, and other miscellaneous items of work. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bidder's bond, certified check, bank cashiers check or bank draft payable to the Village of Williams Bay for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid as provided in the Bidder Instructions. Rejection of Bids. The Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive technicalities. Unless the Bids are rejected for good cause, award of contract shall be made to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder. Contractor shall furnish performance and payment bonds, each in an amount at least equal to the Contract Price as security for the faithful performance and payment of all of Contractors obligations under the Contract Documents. The Contractor may begin this work after October 1, 2023 and must be complete before April 15, 2024. The Owner will wait with the Notice to Proceed until permits are obtained and Owner is provided with an acceptable schedule from the Contractor.
