Site work and paving for a road / highway in Monticello, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
**As of April 17, 2024 the project was awarded to Payne & Dolan with an amount of $221,861.40. ** In general, the work consists of pulverizing the existing pavement on Wettach Road from the Village of Monticello (N. Monroe Street) to the Town limit (Wettach Farm at N7296 Wettach Road). The work includes undercutting areas of poor subgrade, repaving the mainline road, and restoration of driveway aprons and shoulders to match the new road profile. The overall rehabilitation work includes the following approximate quantities: 11,150 SY asphalt pulverization, 2,150 tons of hot mix asphalt, and installation of 10,100 lineal feet of gravel shoulders, and restoration of the work area and other miscellaneous items in conformance with the Contract Documents. This work is a Local Roads Improvement Program (LRIP) project. Bid Bond equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid payable to the OWNER. All Bids uploaded and submitted through online shall also be accompanied with Bid Form 00 41 43. The CONTRACTOR shall be required to pay not less than the minimum wage rate as established by law. The Town of Mt. Pleasant reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any or all Bids. The letting of the work described herein is subject to the provisions of Sections 60.47, 66.0901, and 66.0903, Wisconsin Statutes.
