As of April 3, 2024 projects is on hold. No definite date for the rebid. The City of Holyoke is requesting General Contractor bids for the construction of the Holyoke Childcare Facility. Bidders must carry contractor's liability and workmen's compensation insurances, as well as provide proof of completing projects of like and size. This Request for Bids (RFB) is not to be construed as an offer, contract, or commitment of any kind; nor does it commit the City of Holyoke to pay any costs incurred by the bidder in preparation of the bid. Each bid shall be accompanied by an acceptable Bid Bond or certified check payable to the City of Holyoke in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid submitted as a guarantee that if awarded the contract, the Bidder will promptly enter into a contract. If bid security is not received with the proposal, the bid will not be considered. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and payment bonds.
