Athletic Equipment Inspections INTRODUCTION
The Dover School District, SAU #11, of Dover NH (hereinafter referred to as the "District") is requesting proposals for annual inspections of gymnasium and outdoor bleachers, as well as various athletic equipment. General information and requirements are as follows. Any questions or inquiries must be submitted in writing, and, in order to be considered, must be received by Libby Simmons, Operations and Accounting Manager, at l.simmons@dover.k12.nh.us no later than seven (7) calendar days before the Request for Proposal due date and time. Any changes to the Request for Proposals will be provided to all Proposers of record. SCOPE OF SERVICE
Below are minimum requirements.
A. Bleacher Inspections
o Inspections shall be made per manufacturer's compliance specifications.
o Check and retighten bleacher attachments.
o Tighten all nuts/bolts under bleachers so frame is tight and secure.
o Replace missing hardware, nuts and bolts.
o Inspect tracks to ensure the integrity.
o Check for foreign objects in tracts. Clean, vacuum tracts and degrease.
o Check for broken welds.
o Inspect power system and adjust if necessary.
o Clean rollers, inspect for broken rollers and advise if any need replacement.
o Lubricate all moving parts, frame and tracts. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
The District reserves the right to waive any formality, informality, information and/or errors in the proposals submitted and the right to reject any or all proposals at its discretion and to accept the proposal which will be in the best interest of the District; or to purchase on the open market if it is considered in the best interest of the District to do so. The request is for a one (1) year service agreement commencing after July 1, 2024 to perform annual inspections on the equipment listed above under Scope of Service, renewable after the first year for two (2) additional (1) year terms contingent upon owner satisfaction and funding availability.
