A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include Removal of existing lead-based paint & dispose. Sand & prep wood and steel substrate, prime paint and apply two finish coats. Remove and replace all caulking. Exterior Painting: includes the coordination with the roofing contractor awarded under a separate contract for roof repairs. The painting and roof repairs will coincide with each other. The painting will include the following scope of work: o Remove existing lead-based paint & dispose. o Sand & prep wood and steel substrate, prime paint and apply two finish coats. o Remove and replace all caulking. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required. A Public Works Contractor's License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work.
