Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

This project includes road reconstruction on Prospect Street between Grahams Lane to Cumberland Ave, Legion Road, Regency Court, Dynes Road, and includes installation of protected intersections, road resurfacing, watermain works, and waste watermain works in an occupied (vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists, etc.) environment with existing underground and overhead utilities that must be worked around Driveway access to businesses along Prospect Street and Legion Road must be maintained at all times during business hours. Traffic control shall be set up to minimize lane restrictions. The Contractor is permitted to close the road locally during watermain and wastewater main installation work from Brant Street to Guelph Line on Prospect Street in order to facilitate the work. The rolling local road closure shall not close multiple side streets off Prospect Street at the same time. Access to the side streets (where multiple entrances exist off of Prospect Street) shall be maintained at all times. Access to the 2051-2077 Prospect Street Apartments and Townhouse complex must be maintained at all times, the Contractor is to stage the work in front of this driveway in such a way that vehicular traffic access is maintained.
