HHSC is seeking a roofing professional and subject-matter expert in their industry to plan, design, and prepare detailed specifications and drawings, submit for permit, and provide contract administration for roofing repairs and redevelopment construction projects. The proponent will be responsible for coordinating the project with the roofing contractor, and will be required to visit HHSC on a daily basis overseeing the progress and provide progress reports, and will ensure the project is successfully completed on time and on budget. The proponent must have experience in Commercial and Institutional roofing systems. HHSC will establish a primary vendor for up to 70% of volume and secondary vendor, up to 0-30% of volume, for HHSC's Roofing Consultant services needs. The Roofing Consultant providers will be engaged on an as needed basis for the Capital Development department. This RFP is applicable to all HHSC hospital sites, including off-site facilities, with the exception of the McMaster University Medical Centre ("MUMC") Level 6 Roof project, which will be competitively bid in an independent procurement process.
