The City of Hamilton is requesting Proposals from qualified Consultants to conduct detailed visual inspections of approximately 566 retaining walls located in multiple locations throughout the City of Hamilton on a biennial basis. Inspections shall be done using the Ministry of Transportation Ontario Structure Inspection Manual (OSIM), 2008 Program. Work shall consist of creating an inventory and documenting the physical characteristics, element conditions and any critical condition findings of a retaining wall. The data and information collected is utilized for the purposes of managing, maintaining, repairing and replacing retaining walls. There is no proposal security, performance security or labour and material payment security required for this Request for Proposals.
