Site work and renovation of a swimming pool in Hamilton, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a swimming pool; and for the renovation of a swimming pool.
The HRCA manages the Wild Waterworks (WWW) waterpark, on behalf of the City of Hamilton. One of the main, central attractions are the four East Tower Slides. The original construction of the steel structure for the East Tower Slides was in 1983. The main structure of this slide tower is in need of corrosion abatement work following recent TSSA inspections performed in 2023. Following these inspections, the HRCA retained consulting assistance to complete a structural inspection of the east slide ramps and launch platform. The one-year recommendations outlined in the structural inspection was used to generate the scope of work for this project. The scope of this project will be to repair and refurbish corroded components identified on the east slide tower structure. This document contains the relevant processes, procedures, specifications and site plans in order for bidders to develop and submit their Tenders.
