Reference Number 0000263303 McMaster University invites eligible bidders to submit their proposals for the provision of Housekeeping services, encompassing both goods and services, for the David Braley Health Sciences Centre. located at 100 Main Street West in Hamilton. Ontario. McMaster's primary goal is to identify a collaborative partner who can significantly improve the experience for students and patients by delivering: 1 Exceptional services. 2 Innovative methods and cutting-edge technology. 3 A commitment to align with McMaster University's core mission. This RFP is to provide all labour, materials, cleaning supplies and equipment required to provide general housekeeping and janitorial services to the facility. The services to be provided include: A. Custodial and Janitorial Services Janitorial Services to include pick-up of waste and recycling. Recycling programs will be in place. Waste and The Green bin organic waste program operated by the City of Hamilton, may be introduced at some point during the life of the contract. B. General building cleaning Refer to Appendix C Cleaning Frequency And Manuals and Appendix E Custodial Service Schedule For Clinic Area for detailed requirements of general cleaning and frequencies of the building cleaning. C. Special event cleaning, set up and tear down. (occasional) Provide staffing as required to assist with special event set up for the event space on the second and sixth floors and also reset meeting rooms on an as needed basis. This will require staff to set up or move, remove, replace chairs, tables etc. and provide general clean up services following each event. D. Supply and maintenance of all cleaning equipment E. Supply of all cleaning materials F. Supply of all paper products and suitable dispensers.
