Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Boulder City, Nevada. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and sidewalk / parking lot.
This Work Shall Include Furnishing All Labor, Material, and Equipment to Complete the Project City Hall Ada Access Improvements as Described in the Specifications and Shown in the Plans. Work Includes the Removal and Reconstruction of the Parking Lot and Associated Facilities Adjacent to City Hall at 401 California Avenue to Provide an Ada Compliant Accessible Site and Improved Facilities. The Work Will Consist of the Removal & Replacement of Concrete, Asphalt, and Parking Canopies on an Approximate Two-acre Work Site. The Work Includes Several Utility Improvements Such as the Abandonment of an Existing 6" Vcp Sewer Main, Abandonment of an Existing 6" Cast Iron Raw Water Main, the Construction of a New 4" Pvc Sewer Lateral, the Construction of a New 6" Pvc Raw Water Main, the Construction of New Electrical Infrastructure for Decorative Streetlighting and Event Power. This Project Also Includes 3 Additive Alternate Bid Schedules. The Additive Work Shall Include the Construction of New Carports Containing Photovoltaic Arrays and Electric Vehicle Charging Terminals. This Project Also Includes a Deductive Alternate Bid Schedule Relating to Traffic Control and Reducing the Contract Time. Site of Work: the Site of Work is Located Within the City Limits of Boulder City, Nevada; More Specifically, the Adjacent Grounds of City Hall at 401 California Avenue, Boulder City, Nevada. Completion of Work: All Work Including Deficiency List Items Must Be Completed Within One Hundred Eighty (180) Calendar Days After the Date of the Notice to Proceed by the Owner. Question Deadline 02/15/2024 at 12:00 PM PT All questions relative to this project prior to the opening of bids shall be completed utilizing the Nevada Government at Online Each Proposal Shall Be Accompanied by a Certified or Cashier's Check or Bid Bond in an Amount Not Less Than Ten Percent (10%) of the Total Bid Price for the Base Bid Schedule, Payable to the City of Boulder City as a Guarantee That the Bidder, if His Proposal is Accepted, Will Enter Into a Contract Within Fifteen (15) Calendar Days After Receipt of the Contract From the Owner. Workman's Compensation Insurance, Faithful Performance Bond in the Amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Total Bid Price, a Labor and Material Bond in the Amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Total Bid Price, and a Guarantee Bond Will Be Executed as Part of the Contract Agreement. The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids, to Waive Any Informality in a Bid, and to Make Awards in the Interest of the Owner.
