Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Norwalk, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.
The City of Norwalk (The City) is soliciting qualifications from Construction Management (CM) firms which hold an approved and active status under the State of Connecticut DAS pre-qualification program to provide comprehensive Construction Management Services and assist the Norwalk Land Use and Building Management Committee of Norwalk Common Council, and the Project Architect regarding the selected building improvements at the Norwalk Community Recreation Center. The requirements of this project are outlined in greater detail under Section 2 Scope of Work/Project Specifications. Questions Due Date: Feb 12th 2024, 2:00 PM EST All questions concerning this solicitation must be directed, via e-mail, to Sharon Conners, Purchasing Agent at sconners@norwalkct.gov. This project is funded by the State of Connecticut through the Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD) in the amount of $1,2000,000, Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in the amount of $1,750,000, City of Norwalk (City) funding in the amount of $3,750,000 and American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding in the amount of $5,374,000. Budgeted Construction Costs (GMP): $10,000,000 Budgeted Soft Costs and Owner Contingencies: $2,000,000 *This project has been identified as part of a stimulus package
