Site work and paving for a road / highway in Park Forest, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of March 25, 2024 project was awarded to Superior Road Striping, awarded amount is $35, 872.5. This work consists of: All mobilization, material, labor, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the re-striping of approximately 24,000 feet of thermoplastic markings; 2,400 S.F of letters and symbols (Thermoplastic and Urethane); and Traffic Control needed to complete the project. Owner Rights: The Village reserves the right to refuse to issue plans, bid forms, and specifications to any person, firm, or corporation that it considers to be unqualified. Proposals must be submitted on the forms provided. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of bids without the consent of the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Park Forest. The Village reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids, and to make such award as it may deem to be in the best interest of the Village. No less than the prevailing rate of wages as determined by the Department of Labor or determined by the court on review shall be paid to all laborers, workmen and mechanics performing work under this contract. The Village of Park Forest is located in Cook and Will Counties. The undersigned agrees to complete the work by 06/30/24 unless additional time is granted in accordance with the specifications.
