Renovation of an educational facility in Lowell, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Replace the Chiller at the Pawtucketville School. Sub Bid Category Electrical Estimated Cost $550,000 a. Removal of (2) existing chillers, chilled water pumps, dual temperature water pumps, changeover valves, chilled water piping on roof, chilled water piping in mechanical room, and associated electrical and automatic controls. b. Installation of new chiller, chilled water piping on roof, chilled water piping in mechanical room, chilled water pumps, dual temperature water pumps, water specialties, changeover valves, insulation, controls and appurtenances. c. Hydronic/chilled piping modification to provide chiller primary /secondary pump arrangement. d. Factory startup and commissioning of new chilled water systems and applicable controls. e. Provide new system controls and associated system programming within existing BMS system. Program as required to provide primary/secondary pumping with dual temperature water pumps. f. Provide factory authorized Start-Up documentation, Pump Warranties, System Test & Balance and associated close out O&M materials. Prospective bidders are required to submit all questionsin writing to the Chief Procurement Officer by 1:00 P.M. by February 20, 2024. Any questions received after this time will not be considered for review by the City.
