Renovation of a medical facility in Orofino, Idaho. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include the following: modify the nursing stations and several rooms throughout State Hospital North with safety upgrades that are required for the hospital to receive accreditation through the Joint Commission's federal program. This will include the replacement of existing items that pose safety or ligature threats to patients including, HVAC registers, outlets, screws, window blinds, doorknobs, fire sprinklers, etc. It will also include upgrades to the nurse's stations to protect staff and patients like glass separation panels, secure cabinetry, and locking doors. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required.
