Renovation of a water / sewer project in Acton, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
PFAS Treatment at South Acton WTP for the Acton Water District. The scope of work includes construction of a 45 x 70-ft building to store three pairs of 12-ft diameter pressure vessels containing granular activated carbon (GAC) and associated piping and equipment. Also included is construction of a 10,000-gal equalization basin to store water from the existing membrane filters. The PFAS treatment facility will be tied into the existing South Acton WTP via existing piping. The GAC Filters, building, and electrical equipment will be procured by the Owner through separate contracts. This project is funded through the Massachusetts State Revolving Fund (SRF) program.
