A. Work on the Project includes the reconstruction of a parking area at the Homecroft Elementary School for Duluth Public Schools as well as the associated grading, pavement, storm sewer, erosion control, striping, signage, retaining walls and turf establishment. B. These specifications Division 0 through 36, apply to Item A above. Elements of the work include, but are not limited to: 1. Miscellaneous Removals 2. Erosion Control 3. Traffic Control 4. Grading & Base Construction 5. Bituminous Construction 6. Concrete Construction 7. Retaining Wall Construction 8. Landscaping Construction 9. Exterior Light Improvements C. Perform Work of Contract under stipulated unit price contract with Owner in accordance with Conditions of Contract. Construction includes Miscellaneous Removals, Grading, Aggregate Base, Bituminous Pavement, Concrete Curb, Concrete Sidewalk, Site Lighting Improvements, Storm Sewer, Retaining Wall, Pavement Markings, Signage, Erosion Control and Turf Establishment. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities in bidding or to accept the bid or bids, which best serve the interests of the Owner. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond made payable to the Duluth Public School District for at least five percent (5%) of the amount of the Proposal.
