The Project entails the removal and replacement of roof top units at the Lewis Mills High School & Har-Bur Middle School premises, located at 24 & 26 Lyon Rd., Burlington CT. 06013. The RTUs will be replaced with multi-zone variable air volume heating, cooling and ventilation roof top units. The scope of Work for the Project will include all, materials, labor, services, equipment, systems, machinery and controls as described in, and as may be reasonably inferable from the following Except as otherwise provided in subparagraph B below, each Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond in the form attached hereto as Attachment 6 in an amount equal to Ten Percent (10%) of the Base Bid Amount associated with such Bid. The Contractor will be required to provide Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds in an amount not less than 100% of the Contract Price. Prevailing wages are required on this Project in accordance with the rates attached hereto as Attachment 8, pursuant to Connecticut General Statutes Section 31-53 (a) through (h), as amended, whichever is higher. It is anticipated that the successful Bidder will be required to commence work on or about June 19, 2024 and achieve substantial completion of the Project no later than August 24, 2024.
