The Santa Clara Convention Center is an award-winning convention center, recognized as one of the top convention centers in the Western United States. The 302,000 sq. ft. complex features 31 breakout rooms, three ballrooms, and nearly 100,000 sq. ft. of column-free exhibit space as well as a 607-seat theater. The Center's Mission City Ballroom can be used in multiple configurations for a varietyof meetings or events. The Convention Center is surrounded by nearly 4,000 hotel rooms and is just steps away from California's Great America theme park and Levi's Stadium, home of the San Francisco 49ers and a multitude of other events The main structure of the Convention Center was completed in 1986 with subsequent additions such as the East Wing completed in 1996 and the Ballroom expansion completed in 2012. The individual or firm selected is also expected to be knowledgeable of project milestones, approval and permitting process, procurement requirements, and project completion and close-out requirements. All project deliverables shall conform to and meet all applicable codes, rules, regulations, and guidelines which are expected to be in force at the time such improvements are installed. Global Spectrum LP, dba OVG Venue Management (OVG 360), acting as an agent on behalf of the City of Santa Clara is the operator and manager of the Santa Clara Convention Center (Center) located at 5001 Great America Parkway, Santa Clara, CA 95054, and is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide a new and updated ballroom air wall system. Contract duration: 12 months Contract renewal: 1 annual renewal This RFP does not commit OVG 360 to enter into a contract, nor does it obligate OVG 360 to pay for any costs incurred in preparation and submission of proposals or in anticipation of a contract. OVG 360 reserves the right to: Accept an offer in full, or in part, or to reject all offers. Make the selection based on its sole discretion. Reject any and all proposals. Issue subsequent Requests for Proposals. Postpone opening proposals for any reason. Remedy errors in the Request for Proposals process. Approve or disapprove the use of particular subconsultants. Negotiate with any, all or none of the Proposers. Accept other than the lowest offer. Waive informalities and irregularities in the Proposals. OVG 360 reserves the right to accept an offer in- full, or in-part, or to reject all offers.
