Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Westmont, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The proposed reconstruction of the alley bounded on the north by West Quincy Street, on the South by 55th Street, on the East by South Adams Street and on the West by South Washington St. Reconstruction of Alley 5S with hot-mix asphalt alleys, flush PCC edge restraints, proposed storm sewer and drainage structures. PCC Alley entrances and driveways, restoration and other associated improvements. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bidder's bond, certified check, bank cashier's check or bank draft payable to the Village of Westmont for ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid as provided in the Bidder Instructions. Not less than the prevailing rate of wages as determined by the Department of Labor or determined by the court on review shall be paid to all laborers, workmen and mechanics performing work under this contract. b. The Village of Westmont is exempt from the Illinois State, municipal or county Retailers Occupation Tax, Service Occupation Tax, Use Tax, and Service Use Tax as described in Illinois Compiled Statute Chapter 35. Bid prices shall not include the cost of such taxes. There is no scheduled Pre-Bid Meeting.
