The City of Canton, Georgia invites the submission of proposals from experienced and qualified contractors. In accordance with requirements of the City of Canton and the State of Georgia, all submitted proposals shall include an e-verify form which is attached to this proposal. Upon award, the contractor shall enter into a contract with the City for services specified. The City's standard contract agreement is included with this RFP and shall be included in the bid submittal packages. This contract shall include the following: o Performance Bond (100%) Any additional sub consultants and sub-contractors that will provide work totaling over 25% of the contract price are to be approved by the Public Works Department prior to proceeding Questions concerning the request for proposals should be directed in writing and submitted to the Operations Manager, Kelly Pendley, via email at Kelly.pendley@cantonga.gov Questions must be received no later than March 1, 2024. All questions and responding answers will be posted to the City web site at online at on March 4, 2024 prior to the proposal deadline. The City of Canton is looking to repair and replace sidewalks, curbs, and stormwater tops in River Green Subdivision. The Contractor shall be responsible for all licenses, permits, utilities and taxes incurred during the performance of the contract. Any necessary permits will be obtained by the owner prior to issuance of the notice to proceed. The City of Canton Mayor and Council reserve the right to waive any requirements or to reject any and all proposals, to evaluate proposals, and to accept any proposal that, in its opinion, may be in the best interest of the City.
