The City of Union shall receive sealed bids for the following two projects: 2024 Roadway Resurfacing Project: The scope of work includes resurfacing multiple city-maintained streets as identified in the full work summary; Union s 2024 Concrete Maintenance: The scope of work includes concrete curb and gutter repair as well as for ADA compliant sidewalk ramp reconstruction. The City of Union (OWNER) reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. OWNER reserves the right to negotiate with the apparent successful bidder as necessary to meet the needs of OWNER. This bid will consist of providing incidental sidewalk, curb and gutter, and various paving construction work for the City when minor projects arise. The intent of the contract is to perform various concrete replacement projects throughout the city on an as needed basis. The City will provide a minimum of one (1) week notice for all work to be performed. This notice will include a quantity and description of the work to be performed as well as a reasonable time frame in which the work is to be completed. This bid shall be valid for a term of one (1) year beginning with the date this contract is executed. B. The Work is located in Boone County, Kentucky. C. Contracting Method: The Work will be constructed under one prime contract. Question Deadline 02/23/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Invitation for Bids shall be submitted to OWNER in writing. In order to receive consideration, questions must be received by OWNER at least three (3) days prior to the date for the opening of Bids. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by OWNER in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by OWNER as having received the Invitation for Bids for receipt, or posted to the Cityís website two (2) days prior to the Bid due date. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral representations by City personnel will be without legal effect.
