The City of Show Low invites professional engineering firms to submit a statement of qualifications to provide professional engineering consulting services for a wastewater facilities master plan. The City of Show Low operates a wastewater utility that serves its citizens residing within the corporate limits of the city. This system includes collection and treatment of effluent. Interested firms may submit written Statements of Qualifications relating to these services. A selection committee will be convened to evaluate firms' qualifications and experience with similar projects. The firm determined to be best qualified will then be considered for award of a contract by the City Council. The wastewater collection system includes approximately 2,700 manholes ranging from 48-inches diameter to 72-inches diameter. The gravity portion of the collection system includes over 630,000 linear feet of pipe ranging from 4" to 36". And pipe materials
including PVC, Clay, Ductile Iron, Cast Iron AC, and Truss Pipe. There are two areas in the system that utilize Low Pressure Sewer systems. These systems have over 140,000 linear feet of pressure pipes ranging from 1" to 6". These systems also have fresh water augmentation stations to aid in odor control. There are 27 sewer lift stations with over 62,000 linear feet of force main ranging in size from 1" to 18." Written questions regarding this RFQ must be received by the Engineering Department no later than end of business Thursday, February 29. A written addendum to this document may then be used to respond to questions. One page cover letter.
Maximum of twelve (12) pages to address the SOQ evaluation criteria (excluding resumes but including, schedule, project understanding, general information, organizational chart, photos, tables, and diagrams).
Resumes for key personnel, limited to one page per resume, should be attached as a separate appendix in the SOQ.
Cover, back, table of contents, and tabs are not included in the page count, but should not include additional project specific information or SOQ criteria responses.
Failure to comply with the following criteria may be grounds for disqualification will be strictly enforced:
Receipt of submittal by the specified time, date, and location
Number of SOQs submitted
E-mail submittals will not be accepted
