Site work for a water / sewer project in Monument, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work includes, but is not limited to, installation of a precast concrete vault and related appurtenances, two booster pumps with VFDs and pump control panel, sump pump, ductile iron and PVC piping, flow meter, backflow prevention assembly, butterfly valves, check valves, pressure gages, pressure relief valve, vault ventilation, yard piping and gate valves, all fittings and appurtenances to make connections to existing pipelines, all related sitework, and electrical and controls as shown on the Construction Drawings. Each proposal must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a certified cashier s check or a corporate bid bond executed on the prescribed form, payable to the Forest View Acres Water District in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount bid. The Successful BIDDER will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount not less than 100% of the contract price. All questions relative to this project prior to the opening of bids shall be directed to the ENGINEER for the project, and all questions shall be in writing via email. It shall be understood, however, that no interpretations of the bid documents will be made by telephone. For or equal items to be considered for evaluation, Contractor must submit information in compliance with Article 11 in Section 00 21 13 - Instructions to Bidders. No clarifications or questions will be answered three (3) days prior to bid date.
