Site work for a water / sewer project in New Buffalo, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work for which bids are being requested consists of the following: Contract This project consists of extending 8 inch water main along both the south and north sides of US-12 between I-94 and Hoder Road. Included in the water main construction is crossing US-12 twice via trenchless installation. The project also includes the installation of a low pressure sewer system along US-12 between I-94 and Hoder Road consisting of a 2 inch force main. Restoration and various appurtenances is included. e OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding. The use of local contractors and labor is encouraged. A certified check or bank draft drawn on a solvent bank in the State of Michigan payable without condition to the OWNER or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and a surety company, in an amount equal to 5 percent of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least ninety (90) days so the Township can complete the required assessment hearings after the bid opening. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price. Bond forms are included in the Contract Documents.
