Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in East Saint Louis, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Be advised that the authorities of the City of East St. Louis, Illinois have determined that the existing pavement has exceeded its useful life and inundated with cracking and old asphalt patching. The existing sidewalks severely cracked and missing is locations. The existing curbs are spalled from weathering. the tree is pushing up the sidewalk and drives in some locations. These existing areas are unsafe and dangerous to the life, health, property, and safety of the public and constitutes an immediate and continuing hazard for the City of East St. Louis and its citizens in violation of East St. Louis Municipal Codes. Tree Removal shall follow the requirement of the Illinois Standard Specification for Road and Bridge Construction, latest edition. By making a proposal on the Project, the Bidder represents that the Bidder has examined the Scope of Work within the Contract Documents.
