Vendor shall have been in the professional staffing business for a minimum of 5 years and have personnel who have a minimum 2 years of successful related experience in the operation of drawbridges. References that can support this claim shall be provided on the contractor's bid form in the reference section. Vendor shall have competent staff capable of following rules, regulations, and directives. Vendor's employees shall be well trained in compliance with OSHA, Federal DOT, and US Coast Guard regulations applicable to bridge tending operations This work consists of the operation of the Cambridge Creek Bridge in Dorchester County. Vendor Must Be Able to Begin Work and Provide Bridge Tender Coverage Starting on 05/06/2024 at 12:00 Am as the Current Contract is Set to Expire 05/05/2024 at 11:59 Pm. This contract shall not exceed 90 days in time as a larger procurement is in process for this same service, if that contract is awarded, this contract may be terminated at the administration's sole discretion and a prorated amount paid to the contractor up to the termination date. All questions before or after the bid opening may be directed to Ms. Diane Kutskel. Termination for Nonappropriation. If funds are not appropriated or otherwise made available to support continuation in any fiscal year succeeding the first fiscal year, this Contract shall be terminated automatically as of the beginning of the fiscal year for which funds are not available. The Contractor may not recover anticipatory profits or costs incurred after termination. The Contractor shall comply with the nondiscrimination provisions of federal and Maryland law.
