Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Palm Bay, Florida. Conceptual plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The construction entails construction of a 5' sidewalk along Eldron Boulevard SE from San Filippo Drive SE to Diane Avenue SE; approximately 3,938 LF of new sidewalk with ADA detectable ramps and mats warnings, pedestrian warning signs, striping, and crosswalk striping as shown at nearby locations to the school per the construction plans. All sidewalks, crosswalks, and pedestrian ramps shall adhere to current ADA standards. The sidewalk construction will include work such as, material submittals for approval, Federal requirements compliance, drainage pipe installation, driveway installation, clearing and grubbing, testing, swale regrading, shoulder regrading per the typical section and ensure cross slopes adhere to typical cross section and meet ADA requirements as shown on the plans. Coordination with homeowners and utility companies will be the responsibility of the awarded contractor. At designated access locations for driveways and/or canal maintenance, where vehicular loading will occur, the sidewalk thickness will be constructed as 6 inches thick; sidewalk will otherwise be 4 inches thick per City of Palm Bay requirements. The project shall include all incidentals required to complete the project such as clearing and grubbing, testing, utility coordination/relocations, material furnishings/installation, sidewalk installations, sidewalk finishing, erosion control, dewatering, maintenance of traffic, surveying, mobilizations, and restoration work associated with the installation of the sidewalk as identified in the attached design plans including, striping, signs installation and sodding with matching lot site sod.
