Site work and paving for a civil project in Palm Bay, Florida. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
As of August 13, 2025, an engineer has been selected, and this project is in the design phase. Design development is expected to be completed in July 2026 and will proceed to construction document phase. There is currently no funding for construction, therefore, a firm timeline for construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Question End Date 4/19/2024 5:00 PM . In accordance with the provisions of Section 287.055, Florida Statutes for Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA) and 40USC11101-1104 (Brooks Act), the City of Palm Bay is accepting Qualification Submittals from FDOT pre-qualified firms who desire to provide surveying, engineering and design services for the four-lane widening with sidewalk on west side of SJHP from Malabar Road to north of Emerson. The project is a FDOT LAP Class B project due to the construction cost estimate exceeding $10M. Based on the LAP requirements, FDOT Standards, Specifications, design criteria and the Palm Bay 2024 Public Works Manual and City Right of Way Manual will apply for this project. 2.
