Reference Number 0000342658 Job Location: City of Eastpointe The replacement of lead and galvanized water services from the water main or curb stop box to the water meter inside the home or building to be served per EGLE's current Lead and Copper Rule. Includes pavement, driveway adn sidewalk restoration and vegetative restoration. The City of Eastpointe may elect to choose one or multiple contractors to complete water service replacements on an as needed basis throughout the duration of the contract. This contract will be in effect through December 31, 2025 with the option to extend this contract to September 1, 2026. Buyer Preferences, Guidelines & Requirements General Requirements - Bid Deposit Required - Certified Payroll - Contractors License Required - Federally Funded - Insurance Required - License Required - Prevailing Wage Required - Safety Standards Plan No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the receipt of bids. Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5000 $ A certified check, or the included Bid Bond, executed by the Bidder and a surety company, payable to the City of Eastpointe, in an amount of $5,000 will be required with bid submittals. The City of Eastpointe reserves the right to reject any or all bids and/or to waive any irregularities in the bidding. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory performance, payment, maintenance and guarantee bonds and insurance certificates.
