Site work and asbestos abatement for a mixed-use development in Eastpointe, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; and for asbestos abatement for a educational facility.
This project will be completed in March, April, June and July 2024, prior to building renovation activities and will include the removal and disposal of asbestos troweled-on ceiling plaster, asbestos thermal system insulation, interior doors with asbestos caulk, interior tagged fire door with interior tagged fire door frame, and exterior doors with asbestos caulk. The OPENING ofthe bids will take place at 11:00 A.M. local time at Eastpointe Community Schools Administrative Center, 24685 Kelly Road, Eastpointe, MI 48021. All bids shall be accompanied by a sworn statement, in accordance with MCL 380.1267, disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the owner(s) or any employee ofthe bidder and any member ofthe Board ofEducation ofthe School District or the Superintendent ofthe School District. All bids shall be accompanied by a sworn statement, in accordance with MCL 129.313, certifying that the bidder is not an Iran linked business. The Board of Education shall not accept a bid that does not include sworn and notarized copies ofthe familial relationship disclosure statement and affidavit of compliance with the Iran Sanction Act. Eastpointe Community Schools reserves the right to reject any or all bids either in whole or in part or to waive any informalities or irregularities that may be in the best interest ofthe School District.
