**As of March 28, 2024 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The Carteret Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids or proposals and to waive any minor irregularities in any bid proposal if it is considered in the best interest of the Board to do so. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid, but not to exceed $20,000.00 (the "Guarantee"), guaranteeing that if a contract is awarded to the bidder, the bidder shall enter into a contract and will furnish a performance bond or other form of security acceptable to the Board in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the full amount of the contract.
