This Invitation to Tender (the ITT) is an invitation by The Corporation of the Town of The Blue Mountains (the Town) to prospective bidders to submit bids for Supply and Replacement of Air Relief Valves, as further described in Section A of the ITT Particulars (Appendix B) (the Deliverables). This project involves various upgrades and repairs at nine (9) valve chambers located on a 250mm diameter sanitary forcemain located in the municipal right of way on the south side of Highway 26, east of Thornbury. The Work includes, but is not limited to, replacement of existing six (6) air release valves with new, replacement of existing three (3) gate valves with new, injection grouting to waterproof leaks, and the application of corrosion protection to pipes and fittings within the chambers.
