Bituminous Pavement Patching Program 2024. Bid Security, Bond and Insurance. A. Proposal Guarantee. A Proposal Guarantee in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall be required. Bank Cashier's Check, Bank Draft, or Certified Check made payable to the Village of Vernon Hills, shall accompany all proposals. In lieu of a Performance Bond, the Village shall retain the successful bidder's Proposal Guarantee for the duration of the work. B. Insurance. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish certificates and policies of insurance as required by the Contract upon award of the Contract.
