Waterworks District #1 of Pointe Coupee Parish will receive separate sealed Bids for WSP 2023 Water Program, Elevated Tank Repair and Repainting. The Work consists of the repair and repainting of the Lakeland 75,000 Gallon elevated double-ellipsoidal tank as detailed in Section 33 16 29 - Repair and Repainting Elevated Water Utility Storage Tanks. Note: The Bidder of this project, i.e., General Contractor, shall be registered as a Prime Bidder on this project with the issuing office (Central Auction House) to submit a bid. Those Bidders who are not registered as a Prime Bidder and those without a valid Louisiana Contractor's license may not have their bids accepted at the bid opening. Since Federal funds are to be used in portions of this project, Bidders are reminded that per Federal Law, all regulations and requirements of, but not limited to, 2 CFR 200.317 - 200.327 apply. This includes the additional good faith efforts to solicit minority owned, women owned, and disadvantaged owned business. Bidders are encouraged to thoroughly review Article 19.00 of Section 00 73 00 Supplementary Conditions within the Project Manual and to follow any and all federal requirements. AIS and Davis-Bacon Wage rates do not apply to this project but are encouraged. Project to be constructed under a single prime contract. Prime Bidder shall hold a Louisiana License with a commercial specialty classification in Painting, Coating, and Blasting (Industrial and Commercial). Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders. Waterworks District No. 1 reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any and all bids. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within 45 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
