Site work for a detention facility in Ridgway, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a detention facility.

The general construction project includes the installation of a heavy-duty, high-strength steel wire mesh screen over the existing open-grate prison yard roof. All questions should be directed to the Project Engineer. Bid security must accompany Bid and made payable to the Elk County Board of Commissioners in the amount equal to 10% of the Bid and in the form of a certified bank check or a bid bond issued by an acceptable surety and executed by the bidder. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. A maintenance bond will also be required at the completion of the Project. Bidders must submit with their bids the non-collusion affidavit contained in the Bid documents. All questions should be directed to the Project Engineer. Pennsylvania prevailing wages will apply; applicable rates have been included with the Bid documents and shall be reflected in the final Bid. The County of Elk reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all informalities. Bids may be held by the County for a period not to exceed 45 days from the date of opening for the purpose of reviewing bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
