**As of March 2, 2024, This project has been awarded toJeffery Contracting, LLC, with the awarded amount of $1,174,821.80** BSB Department of Public Works has hired Water & Environmental Technologies to develop a design for road, and sidewalk on Excelsior Avenue from Waukesha Street to Missoula Street. New concrete sidewalk and curb and gutter will be placed on both sides of the newly constructed street. CONTRACTOR and any of the CONTRACTOR'S subcontractors bidding or doing work on this project will be required to be registered with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). All operators, laborers, drivers, and mechanics employed by CONTRACTOR or subcontractors in performance of the construction work shall be paid wages at rates as may be required by the laws of Butte-Silver Bow and the State of Montana. The CONTRACTOR must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond payable to Butte-Silver Bow County, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Successful BIDDERS shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount.
