Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Butte, Montana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Butte-Silver Bow Community and Economic Development Department has hired Water & Environmental Technologies to develop a design for road, sidewalk, fiber optic conduit, and stormwater improvements in the South Butte Targeted Economic Development District (TEDD) on North Parkmont Street from Basin Creek Road to West Parkmont Street. The design includes installation of ADA curb ramps, sidewalk, curb and gutter, road section improvements, fiber optic conduit, and stormwater infrastructure. The Request for Bid (RFB) documents may be examined or obtained at the office of Water and Environmental Technologies, 480 East Park Street, Butte, MT 59701 in accordance with Article 2.01 of Instructions to Bidders. The RFB Documents may also be examined at the following location: Butte-Silver Bow Office of the Clerk & Recorder Courthouse Building 155 West Granite Street, Room 208 Butte, MT 59701 CONTRACTOR and any of the CONTRACTOR'S subcontractors bidding or doing work on this project will be required to be registered with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). Forms for registration are available from the Department of Labor and Industry, P.O. Box 8011, 1805 Prospect, Helena, Montana 59604-8011. Information on registration can be obtained by calling 1-406-444-7734. All operators, laborers, drivers, and mechanics employed by CONTRACTOR or subcontractors in performance of the construction work shall be paid wages at rates as may be required by the laws of Butte-Silver Bow and the State of Montana. The CONTRACTOR must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond payable to Butte-Silver Bow County, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Successful BIDDERS shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Insurance as required shall be provided by the successful BIDDER(s) and a certificate(s) of that insurance shall be provided. Persons with disabilities who need an alternative format of the RFB in order to participate in this Invitation for Bids process should contact James Ouellette, ADA Coordinator, Courthouse Building, 155 West Granite Street, Butte, Montana, 59701; telephone number: (406) 497-6433, FAX number (406) 497-6328, TTD number (406) 497-6223. The City and County of Butte-Silver Bow will make every effort to comply with such as request, as long as it is received within five (5) working days of the noticed bid acceptance closing date and time. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled time for the public opening of bids, which will take place on April 17, 2024, 7:30 P.M. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals received, to waive informalities, to postpone the award of the contract for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days, and to accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid which is in the best interest of the OWNER.
